Job Title: Entry-Level Fabricator Assembler
Location: Hickory Hills, IL
Hours: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Job Description:
The Entry-Level Fabricator Assembler supports the production of orthotic and prosthetic medical devices using materials such as plastics and carbon fiber. This role involves operating machinery, assembling components, maintaining accuracy through quality checks, and ensuring production standards are met. No prior experience is required—training is provided. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow within the medical manufacturing field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fabricate orthotic and prosthetic components with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate and tend machines safely and efficiently.
  • Use scanners for inventory control and tracking tasks.
  • Make software-based adjustments as needed during production.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure all products meet medical-grade standards.
  • Work with materials including plastics, resins, and carbon fiber.
  • Maintain cleanliness and uphold sanitation and safety standards within the production area.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and resolve workflow issues.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude or interest in working hands-on with tools and machinery.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy.
  • Must be comfortable in a manufacturing environment 
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Bilingual preferred – English and Spanish
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
  • Must be willing to submit to a background screen
