Are you detail-oriented and organized, with a knack for ensuring everything is in its right place? Our client is seeking an Office Receiving Clerk to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the flow of materials and information, ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately documented and processed.
Responsibilities of the Office Receiving Clerk
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
Verify packing slips, purchase orders, and delivery documents.
Enter receiving data into inventory or office systems.
Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments regarding deliveries.
Maintain organized and accurate receiving records and files.
Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items promptly.
Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety guidelines.
Requirements of the Office Receiving Clerk
Previous receiving, clerical, or administrative experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Ability to lift light to moderate items, if required.
Work Environment: Office setting with occasional warehouse interaction.
Standard business hours with potential overtime as needed.
