Overnight Machine Operator
Hope Valley, RI
Are you a night owl with a knack for machinery? Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Overnight Machine Operator to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment to produce top-quality craft products while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities of the Overnight Machine Operator
Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to company procedures.
Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met.
Make minor machine adjustments to maintain efficient operation.
Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products.
Package, label, and prepare products for shipment as needed.
Complete production reports and maintain accurate records.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Report equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Follow all company safety policies, GMPs, and OSHA regulations.
Assist with changeovers, preventative maintenance, and other production tasks as assigned.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Requirements of the Overnight Machine Operator
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
