Masis Staffing Solutions is currently hiring for a Paint Operator at an aerospace warehouse located in Ladson, SC. This is a first shift position, Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm.

Responsibilities for Paint Operator:

· Responsible for applying primer and top coat to parts, curing parts and verifying and recording thickness according to customer’s specifications.
· Mask parts to engineering sketches when required.
· Visually check own work prior to submitting to inspection.
· Monitor inventory for expired materials and order supplies as needed.
· Clean all spray gun equipment and maintain cleanliness of spray booth area. Change filers as needed.
· Able to rebuild paint gun with replacement parts as part of regular maintenance schedule. Responsible for ordering replacement parts as needed.
· Maintain all logs and charts.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area according to customer requirements and keep cleaning log up to date.
· Responsible for the accurate recording of all paperwork and labor entries associated with the position.

Requirements for Paint Operator:

Must have 2 years of experience in industrial painting
Knowledge of tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be adaptable and flexible
Must display a positive attitude while working well as a team

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED minimum required

Compensation/Benefits for the Paint Operator:
Salary: $20/hr
