Our client is seeking a Parts & Inventory Specialist to join their dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that critical maintenance parts are readily available, helping to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities of the Parts & Inventory Specialist
Maintain accurate inventory of maintenance parts, equipment components, and supplies.
Organize and maintain a clean and efficient parts/storage area.
Perform inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
Order parts, materials, and supplies based on operational needs.
Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery.
Track purchase orders and follow up on outstanding deliveries.
Assist with identifying alternative parts or vendors when necessary.
Requirements of the Parts & Inventory Specialist
2-5 years of experience in inventory, parts coordination, purchasing, procurement, or a related position.
Manufacturing, food production, or industrial experience strongly preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using inventory systems, ERP software, and/or Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication and vendor coordination skills.
Compensation/Benefits for the Parts & Inventory Specialist
$25.00-$29.00 per hour, based on experience.
