Masis Staffing is hiring for a Plant Superintendent / Operations Manager
Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for scheduling and overseeing daily plant operations to meet customer delivery expectations while ensuring safety, product quality, and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities include:
Managing, directing, and controlling activities of all manufacturing personnel
Scheduling all production activities and communicating schedules and lead times to Customer Service
Serving as the primary contact for hiring direct labor employees and maintaining the cross-training matrix
Partnering with area managers to evaluate and develop direct labor employees
Driving product delivery, quality, and cost performance
Overseeing assigned capital projects
Visiting customer sites as required by customers or Sales
Ensuring SPI and industry standards are met
Collaborating with other facilities to improve plant efficiency
Reporting operational issues to the Plant Manager
Leading continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN, RCFA, RCM, ISO)
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent
8–10 years of manufacturing experience (paper industry preferred)
Proven leadership and supervisory experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
