Summary: The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of buildings and facilities.
Responsibilities:
? Cleanliness of entire facility
? Emptying and cleaning garbage bins
? Cleaning kitchen, bathrooms, equipment, walls, and stairs
? Inventory management of cleaning supplies
? Works with all departments to assure safe clean working environment
? Follows HACCP, GMP, requirements are met or exceeded
? Works efficiently in a timely manner
? Works with safety in mind at all times
? Assist in other departments as needed
Qualification Skills:
? The ability to lift 20-50 pounds regularly
? The ability to respond quickly to sounds
? The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
? The ability to work for short period of time in cooler and freezer
? Lifting, carrying, walking, standing kneeling, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling for long periods
? Able to communicate effectively
? 1-year related experience
? Able to follow detailed cleaning procedures and implement or improve on existing ones
? Work with cleaning chemicals daily
? Ability to operate sanitation equipment (mop, broom and or vacuum)
Requirements:
? 1-3 years in related position, experience in sanitation required
? Required to complete SQF paperwork for assigned duties
? Work independently.
? Ability to follow safety protocols
? Ability to work in the cold/ freezer
