Are you ready to play a crucial role in ensuring smooth production operations? Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Prep Supply 2nd Shift member. This position is essential for pulling and kitting ingredients, ensuring that production runs efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities of the Prep Supply
Pull and kit ingredients accurately for production needs.
Apply FIFO methodology consistently and note LOT numbers.
Complete all DSI transactions on a daily basis.
Provide necessary packaging supplies for production.
Utilize the Production Schedule and Materials Requirement Plan to allocate materials.
Load or unload trucks at warehouse docks as needed.
Cover vacation schedules for Shipper/Receiver/Selector staff.
Operate fork trucks, pallet jacks, and electrical hand trucks safely.
Map raw material locations daily, noting LOT codes.
Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in developing procedures and corrective actions.
Adhere to the plant's HACCP plans and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Prep Supply 2nd Shift
Strong understanding of FIFO methodology and LOT number tracking.
Ability to complete DSI transactions efficiently.
Experience with operating fork trucks, pallet jacks, and electrical hand trucks.
Familiarity with Production Schedules and Materials Requirement Plans.
Ability to communicate effectively to ensure proper production flow.
Commitment to safety and professionalism in all job tasks.
Willingness to participate in Continuous Improvement projects and processes.
