Press Apprentice 2nd Shift

Position Summary: 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2 AM
We're seeking a hands-on team member to support production operations in a print-focused manufacturing setting. This role is designed as a developmental opportunity, providing training and experience with the potential to grow into an advanced technical position.

Role Focus:
This position involves assisting equipment operators with production prep, clean-up tasks, and material handling. It’s ideal for someone who is eager to learn, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Key Functions:

Help maintain clean and well-stocked production areas
Support with loading paper and organizing supplies for upcoming runs
Learn directly from senior staff and respond to feedback with a focus on improvement
Participate in job prep and staging to ensure readiness and efficiency
Follow direction closely and support the overall pace of the workflow

What You Should Bring:

Willingness to learn and grow into a technical role
Basic understanding of equipment or mechanical processes is helpful
Able to read and understand work instructions and measurements
Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
Able to work collaboratively with various roles across departments
Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and maneuvering heavy materials with assistive tools
Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and reach as part of regular tasks
Visual accuracy and manual dexterity are essential
Comfortable working around moving equipment and fast-paced operations
Successful completion of pre-employment requirements is necessary
