Are you a skilled press operator looking to elevate your career? Our client is seeking a dedicated Press Operator to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of high-speed presses and maintaining the quality of printed materials.
Responsibilities of the Press Operator
Set up and operate the front ends of high-speed presses efficiently.
Ensure all printed materials meet quality and productivity standards.
Perform basic troubleshooting tasks on all pressroom equipment, including high-speed presses.
Conduct general repairs on high-speed presses as needed.
Train and mentor lower-level pressroom employees.
Participate actively in Continuous Improvement, Safety, Quality, and Environmental programs.
Execute additional tasks within the plant as required by business needs.
Requirements of the Press Operator
Proven experience in operating high-speed presses.
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for pressroom equipment.
Ability to meet productivity and quality standards consistently.
Excellent attendance record and performance history.
Willingness to train and support lower-level team members.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Flexibility to perform various tasks as needed within the plant.
Compensation/Benefits for the Press Operator
$20-$25/HR
