Masis Staffing is hiring experienced Line Leads for 1st and 2nd shift at a leading manufacturing facility in New Albany, OH!

Position Summary

The Production Line Lead is responsible for leading daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently achieved. This role provides hands-on leadership by coordinating workflow, training team members, monitoring production performance, and troubleshooting issues to keep operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate production team members to achieve daily production goals.
  • Coordinate line setup, staffing, and workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor production performance, quality standards, and safety compliance throughout each shift.
  • Train and cross-train employees on production procedures, equipment operation, and safety practices.
  • Conduct in-process quality inspections and ensure products meet company specifications.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including work orders, production counts, quality data, and rejection reports.
  • Monitor key production metrics such as weights, temperatures, and machine performance.
  • Enter production and quality information into company databases and manufacturing systems.
  • Identify production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Production Supervisors to resolve equipment or process concerns.
  • Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and material coordination to maintain continuous production.
  • Perform minor equipment adjustments and support preventative maintenance efforts.
  • Promote and maintain 5S standards, workplace organization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Rotate team members between workstations to improve flexibility, ergonomics, and overall productivity.
  • Step into production roles when necessary to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Ensure all company policies, GMP, safety, and quality standards are consistently followed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Line Lead, Team Lead, Shift Lead, or Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production workflow.
  • Ability to interpret production schedules, work orders, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience with production reporting, quality documentation, and computer data entry.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule and Pay:

  • 1st shift- Monday-Friday, 5:00am-1:00pm at $21.50 an hour.
  • 1st shift- Monday-Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm at $21.50 an hour.
  • 2nd shift- Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-9:00pm at $22.50 an hour.
