Production Manager – Manufacturing- DIRECT HIRE
Location: Manufacturing Facility

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead production planning and scheduling to ensure all customer orders are completed on time, every time. This role keeps engineering, quality, and operations aligned through clear planning, strong coordination, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Create and manage the production schedule for maximum efficiency and on-time delivery
Ensure materials and supplies are available to prevent delays
Monitor customer orders from entry through shipment to ensure timely fulfillment
Track production performance (hours to plan, shipments to plan, downtime) and drive improvements
Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Change-Over teams
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and process issues

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Lean practices; Lean Six Sigma preferred
Experience with MRP systems and improving system efficiency
3+ years of purchasing or materials planning experience using JIT principles
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; IQMS experience a plus
Project management experience from start to finish

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Extended periods of sitting and computer work
Repetitive hand and arm movements
Close and color vision required
