Job Title: Production Supervisor-
Salary: $70,000–$90,000 annually (DOE)
Hours: 6PM-6AM OR
6AM-6PM
Days: Rotating Schedule
Type: Direct Hire

Position Summary
Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations, ensure high-quality production standards, and lead a team in a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in solar module manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor production activities and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Manage production equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise production staff to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Analyze production data to identify process improvements and increase productivity.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to achieve production goals and improve product quality.
  • Support the startup of new products and equipment, including installation, troubleshooting, process validation, documentation, and transition to production.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and drive process and quality improvements.
  • Troubleshoot daily production challenges while maintaining safety, product quality, yield, and manufacturing effectiveness.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and productivity expectations.
  • Ensure finished products meet quality specifications by understanding machine controls, material properties, quality standards, and testing methods.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a solar module manufacturing environment or similar
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience leading production or engineering teams.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and/or the Toyota Production System.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and product monitoring techniques.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
