The Production Worker supports the daily output of the manufacturing lines by prepping materials, loading/unloading assembly fixtures, packing finished goods, and executing low-to-mid complexity mechanical assembly outside the cleanroom environment. This is a dynamic role requiring physical stamina, cross-functional flexibility, and a strong commitment to team throughput goals.
Core Responsibilities
Line Feeding & Kitting: Transfer, stock, and load raw materials (housings, retainers, cables, o-rings, and labels) onto production lines to ensure zero downtime.
Sub-Assembly: Perform mechanical assembly of display enclosures, brackets, and final product casing using hand and power tools.
Rework & Sorting: Identify minor assembly defects and perform guided rework or sorting procedures to recover material yields.
Packaging & Shipping Prep: Carefully clean, protect, pack, and label finished display products according to specialized customer shipping specifications.
Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all facility safety rules, wear required PPE, and maintain an organized, hazard-free workspace.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, warehousing, or assembly environment preferred but not required (will train the right candidate).
Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable using basic hand tools, automated dispensers, and electric screwdrivers.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stretch for a full 9-hour shift. Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 40-50 lbs unassisted.
Soft Skills: Punctual, reliable, and capable of moving efficiently between different tasks without losing focus.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; basic English reading and writing literacy required.
