Production Worker

Position Summary

We are hiring Production Workers to support a fast-paced food manufacturing and packaging operation. This position supports production through staging raw product, hand-packing cases, case erecting and sealing, quality checks, pallet building and wrapping, and assisting machine operators while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the efficient operation of production and packaging lines.
• Monitor product during production runs and perform quality checks.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties while following food safety and quality standards.
• Identify and remove defective product and communicate ongoing quality concerns.
• Load product onto production lines to maintain efficient machine operation.
• Hand-pack finished goods into cases.
• Stack pallets according to specifications and operate a stretch-wrapper or hand-wrap finished pallets.
• Complete production and quality-control duties with strong attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate professionally with team members and leadership.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow all required safety procedures.
• Follow GMPs and all applicable food safety and quality programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Food manufacturing or packaging-line experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to understand basic instructions and communicate effectively.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Strong teamwork, time management, initiative, and attention to detail.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works primarily in a refrigerated and humid manufacturing environment around loud, vibratory, and fast-moving equipment. The role requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, crouching, climbing, and repetitive hand movements throughout the shift. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 lbs.
