This role is for a hands-on Marine Project Manager lead marine construction projects from start to finish. The position combines field leadership with some office responsibilities, including budgeting, material coordination, and record-keeping. The ideal candidate enjoys outdoor work, problem-solving on the water, and motivating teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities – Marine Project Manager:

  • Lead marine construction projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
  • Supervise and coordinate crew members, subcontractors, and engineers to maintain efficient operations.
  • Operate and oversee heavy equipment, barges, and marine construction techniques as needed.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Solve on-site challenges and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Maintain project documentation, daily logs, and communicate updates to management.

Requirements – Marine Project Manager:

  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience in marine construction, including pile driving, dredging, and dock building.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate field teams.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Organized and capable of managing materials, budgets, and project records.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred: OSHA 10 certification and additional rigging or signaling certifications.

Additional Notes – Marine Project Manager:

  • Full-time, permanent role with an hourly rate of $35–$40.
