Position Overview:
The Development Coordinator will support all phases of the firm’s real estate development efforts—from site identification and due diligence through permitting and project execution. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional looking to grow within a small but rapidly expanding development and investment team.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential development sites based on company investment criteria.
Assist in due diligence efforts, including zoning review, environmental assessments, and utility availability.
Support acquisition and site control activities (LOIs, purchase agreements, easements, etc.).
Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and municipal officials during the permitting and entitlement process.
Track project timelines, budgets, and documentation to ensure deadlines are met.
Prepare development summaries, reports, and presentations for internal review and investor meetings.
Maintain organized records of site data, permits, and contracts.
Provide general administrative and logistical support to the development and investment teams as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of zoning, permitting, and land-use processes.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with GIS or real estate mapping tools a plus.
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $75,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience.
