Job Description — QC Repair Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Repair Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/electronic assemblies and devices to ensure they meet company quality standards. This role requires a basic understanding of electrical/electronic circuitry, the ability to read schematics/prints, and comfort using hand tools and testing equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to:

• Perform quality inspections, functional checks, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical/electronic devices and assemblies.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical/electronic circuitry and function.
• Use a systematic approach to troubleshoot electrical/electronic issues and confirm repairs meet requirements.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and basic blueprints to diagnose problems and verify proper wiring/assembly.
• Use basic hand tools and test equipment including (but not limited to) screwdrivers, drills, voltage meters/multimeters, and other standard tools as needed.
• Document findings, repairs, and results as required.
• Ensure HTC assembly and wiring standards and processes are followed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all safety practices.

Required Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electrical/electronic circuitry and how components function.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for electrical/electronic devices.
• Experience using hand tools and basic electrical testing tools (e.g., voltage meter/multimeter).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and basic blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus)

• Experience with networking, program downloading, and software installation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
