Masis Staffing Solutions is hiring a Quality Inspector for a 2nd shift opportunity at a well-established manufacturing facility in New Albany, Ohio.

This is a temp-to-hire position with steady hours, a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, and the chance to join a team focused on quality, safety, and production excellence.

2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
$19.50/hour

What You’ll Do

As a Quality Inspector, you will help ensure products meet customer expectations and company quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

You may perform quality checks in areas such as:

Wax batch approvals and sample inspections
Incoming material and component inspections
In-process production checks
Finished goods and pack-out inspections
Inventory and product quality verification
Data entry, documentation, and quality recordkeeping

You will also help collect quality data, log inspection results, and support the QA team with special projects and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform quality inspections in a manufacturing environment
Verify products meet quality standards for:
- Wax quality
- Wick placement
- Fill weights
- Labeling
- Cleanliness
- Overall appearance
Inspect incoming materials and finished products for compliance
Record inspection results using paper logs and computer systems
Track quality issues and assist with corrective actions
Help monitor corrective and preventive action effectiveness
Support testing processes by:
- Logging samples into the database
- Printing test forms and barcode labels
- Assisting with product testing procedures
Prepare and distribute product samples to internal teams, customers, and third-party testing facilities
Maintain quality data, metrics, and reporting trends
Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment
