Quality Control Inspector

Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch quality in manufacturing? Our client is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Quality Control Inspectors. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of product quality and safety that our client is known for. Join a team that values precision and excellence.
 

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector 

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections at random to assess product quality.

  • Inspect and test materials and products by measuring dimensions, examining functionality, and comparing results to quality expectations.

  • Utilize a variety of measurement devices, fixtures, and equipment, including tape measures, pin gages, laser micrometers, magnifiers, and vision systems.

  • Follow good documentation practices (GDP) for recording all inspection results and activities.

  • Remove or discard products and equipment that fail to meet specifications.

  • Adhere to manufacturing and quality processes, including testing and documentation, to ensure products meet specified criteria.

  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a high level of accuracy and quality in all inspections.
     

Requirements of the Quality Control Inspector 

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to inspect products using various inspection tools with a high level of accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to read and comprehend drawings, specifications, procedures, manuals, and work instructions.

  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and organizational skills.

  • Preferred proficiency with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or FDA/cGMP quality system requirements.

  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector Certification or similar is a plus.

  • 3-5 years of quality control and/or laboratory experience, preferably in a manufacturing or medical organization.

  • Six Sigma green belt certification and/or experience with continuous improvement tools and techniques is advantageous.
     

Compensation/Benefits for the Quality Control Inspector 

  • Pay Rate $21.00
