Quality Control Inspector

Are you passionate about ensuring product excellence and maintaining high standards? Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a background in manufacturing who are eager to contribute to a reputable local company.
Responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector
Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests.
Reject and return unacceptable materials to suppliers.
Inspect first pieces from each new job lot, ensuring they meet specifications and communicate necessary adjustments to the production supervisor.
Conduct in-process production inspections, confirming specifications and communicating required adjustments.
Inspect finished products, ensuring they meet specifications, and manage re-work processes as needed.
Process returned products (RMAs) efficiently.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, and input data into the quality database.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Requirements of the Quality Control Inspector
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic math skills for accurate measurement and data analysis.
Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytic skills.
Ability to document inspection processes and results accurately.
Good hand/eye coordination for precise inspections.
Ability to read and follow job instructions effectively.
