Quality Control Technician
Peabody, MA
Are you passionate about ensuring the highest quality standards in food production? Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician
Evaluate materials and products to ensure they meet our client's quality standards.
Make recommendations to various departments based on quality findings.
Perform sampling and compliance checks in a chilled food environment (28°F).
Utilize good aseptic techniques and organizational skills to maintain quality control.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure quality standards are met.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure adherence to USDA requirements.
Maintain flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Requirements of the Quality Control Technician
Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Prior HACCP certification is desirable.
Experience in a chilled food environment is preferred.
General knowledge of food manufacturing processes and USDA requirements is preferred.
Food Safety Experience, Quality Control, and Chemistry knowledge are desirable but not required.
High school education or a career in a related area is preferred.
