Masis staffing has the perfect opportunity for you.We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team in the Lowell,MA area.

Responsibilities of a Quality Control Technician:
• Sample finished products and perform basic quality tests (brix, viscosity, pH, etc.)
• Ensure batch records, verifications, and documentation are accurate and complete
• Investigate and document nonconforming materials and place product on QC hold when necessary
• Perform sanitation verification testing (swabs, allergen testing, etc.) to prevent cross-contamination
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet specifications
• Pull samples for in-process and finished goods testing and validation
• Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity
• Perform visual inspections of raw materials and finished products
• Review product labels for accuracy and compliance

Qualification of a Quality Control Technician:

High school diploma required
Minimum of 1 year of Quality Control experience, preferably in food manufacturing
Basic Microsoft Office skills required
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Experience with HACCP-based food safety systems
Familiarity with food testing methods and laboratory procedures
Experience in manufacturing or production environments

Schedule of Quality Control Technician:
Monday – Friday OT required during busy season
10AM to end of production

Compensation of a Quality Control Technician:
$20 – $24/hr based on experience
