Masis Staffing is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team in Monroe, NC. This position is responsible for ensuring production quality compliance, accurate product labeling, product testing, and follow-up. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Quality Control or a manufacturing environment and strong attention to detail.

Location: Monroe, NC 28110
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine Quality Control Line Checks to ensure production meets quality standards.
• Monitor quality control and compliance requirements for finished goods and raw materials.
• Verify accurate labeling of all products.
• Perform product retain testing and follow up on testing results.
• Conduct product testing related to long-term product stability.
• Troubleshoot quality and production issues and assist with identifying solutions.
• Become fully cross-trained as an Applications Technician.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality control activities.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of work experience, preferably in Quality Control or Manufacturing.
• Experience in Chemical, Printing, Textile, Paper, or similar manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong basic algebra and math skills, including the ability to calculate:
  • Percentages
  • Dilutions
  • Ratios
  • Averages
• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.
• Experience with Windows, Excel, Lotus Notes, BaaN, or DeltaV is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team.
