Quality Control Technician Summary :
A quality control (QC) technician's summary is to ensure products and processes meet established quality, safety, and regulatory standards through meticulous inspection, testing, and data analysis at various stages of production. Key responsibilities include using precision instruments, identifying defects, monitoring production, documenting findings, and collaborating with teams to implement improvements and maintain product consistency. 

Quality Control Technician Responsibilities:

• A Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for ensuring products meet established standards by conducting inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products
• Load, unload, move, and stack materials in warehouses, distribution centers, or production areas.

• Conduct daily safety inspections and routine maintenance checks on all equipment.

• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Read and interpret work orders, load tags, and shipping/receiving documents accurately.

• Assist with inventory control by accurately scanning, labeling, and documenting materials.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and report any unsafe conditions to supervisors.

• Key duties include calibrating equipment, documenting findings in reports, identifying and troubleshooting quality issues, collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions, and suggesting process improvements to maintain consistent quality and compliance with regulations.

Quality Control Technician Requirements:

• Data Interpretation: Understanding and interpreting technical information, including blueprints and reports, is required. 

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are important for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.

• Organizational Skills: Necessary for managing tasks, records, and processes effectively. 

• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office Suite, statistical analysis software, and automated testing software is often needed.

Quality Control Technician Compensation

• Pay Rate: $18 -19/ hour or DOE (Depending on Experience)
• Monday – Friday schedule (standard office hours)
