Quality Inspector
Leominster, MA 

Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch quality in manufacturing? Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Inspector to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of quality that our client is known for, ensuring that every product meets rigorous specifications.
 

Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products for defects or deviations.

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

  • Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and quality standards.

  • Document inspection results accurately in quality records and systems.

  • Identify, report, and segregate non-conforming materials.

  • Support root cause investigations for quality issues or defects.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality procedures.

  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in inspection areas.

  • Follow all safety policies and regulatory requirements.
     

Requirements of the Quality Inspector

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Basic math and measurement skills.

  • Familiarity with inspection tools (preferred but can be trained).

  • Strong attention to detail and consistency.

  • Ability to follow procedures and quality standards.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Problem-solving mindset.

  • Reliability and strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
     

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/clean production environment.

  • Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive inspection tasks.

  • May require overtime or flexible shifts based on production needs.

  • Exposure to small components and precision work.

  • 3PM TO 12AM 

  • $19.50
