Masis Staffing Solutions is hiring a Quality Inspector for a 2nd shift opportunity at a well-established manufacturing facility in New Albany, Ohio. If you have a sharp eye for detail, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in maintaining high product standards, this could be a great fit.

This is a temp-to-hire position offering steady hours, a consistent weekday schedule, and the opportunity to join a team focused on quality, safety, and production excellence.


Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Pay

  • $19.50/hour

What You’ll Do

As a Quality Inspector, you will help ensure products meet both customer expectations and internal quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You may support quality checks in areas such as:

  • Wax batch approvals and sample inspections
  • Incoming material and component inspections
  • In-process production checks
  • Finished goods and pack-out inspections
  • Inventory and product quality verification
  • Data entry, documentation, and quality recordkeeping

You’ll also assist with collecting quality data, logging inspection results, and supporting QA leadership with special projects and process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality inspections in a manufacturing environment
  • Verify products meet established standards for items such as:
    • wax quality
    • wick placement
    • fill weights
    • labeling
    • cleanliness
    • overall appearance
  • Inspect incoming materials and finished products to ensure compliance
  • Record inspection findings using paper logs and computer systems
  • Track quality issues and support corrective actions
  • Help monitor whether corrective and preventive actions are effective
  • Support testing processes, including:
    • logging samples into the database
    • printing test forms and barcode labels
    • assisting with product testing procedures
  • Prepare and distribute product samples to internal teams, customers, and third-party testing facilities
  • Collect and maintain quality data, metrics, and trends for reporting
  • Promote a safe and organized work environment through communication and quality awareness
