Record Center Specialist

We are currently looking to fill a Record Center Specialist position on 1^st shift with a company in Eagan, MN. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 years’ material handling experience and be comfortable with the physical demands of lifting and moving materials throughout the day.

Shift Available: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks)
Responsibilities:

• Process orders and move materials such as files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other items.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and arranging boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
• Regularly lift and carry boxes ranging from 10-50lbs without assistance.
• Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids while walking on uneven or concrete surfaces.
• Load and unload boxes onto pallets, and shrink wrap pallets when necessary.
• Read labels, process incoming and outgoing orders, and track inventory using a proprietary computer system.
• Operate hand-held scanners and use ladders to store documents as needed.
• Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. independently; team lift anything over 50 lbs.

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, and bending for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, grip, push, pull, and carry boxes, including navigating inclines, stairs, and changes in elevation.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Must wear protective footwear that meets ASTM F2413-11 “Standard Specification for Performance Requirements for Protective (Safety) Toe Cap Footwear” and is slip-resistant (rated “Better” or “Best”).
• Ability to load and operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and various material handling aids safely.
• Ability to load boxes onto pallets and trucks both manually and with material handling equipment.

Compensation Salary: $20.00 per hour
