Product Commercialization & Launch
• Manage the end-to-end commercialization process for new products, from concept approval to market launch.
• Conduct pilot plant and production-scale trials to validate formulas, processes, yields, and equipment capability.
• Develop and maintain commercialization plans, timelines, risk assessments, and documentation.
• Work closely with operations to ensure that new products can be manufactured efficiently and consistently.
Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Sales/Marketing to align product specifications, cost targets, and launch requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between R&D and production teams.
• Facilitate communication and provide regular updates to leadership on project status, challenges, and milestones.Process & Technical Support
• Analyze production data to verify product performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, line efficiency, waste reduction, and formula optimization.
• Ensure that all documentation—including formulas, work instructions, SOPs, and quality specifications—is accurate and updated prior to launch.
Quality & Compliance
• Ensure all products meet regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards.
• Partner with QA to develop and implement product quality parameters and testing methods.
• Support compliance for food safety, labeling, certifications, and customer requirements.
Costing & Feasibility
• Assist in cost modeling for new products, evaluating ingredient options, yields, and processing efficiencies.
• Identify potential risks, technical challenges, and cost drivers early in development.
