Our client is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join their Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Department as a Safety Administrative Assistant. This role plays a vital part in maintaining compliance, promoting workplace safety, and ensuring employees have the resources needed to thrive.
Responsibilities of the Safety Administrative Assistant
Perform administrative office duties such as copying, scanning, filing, and data entry.
Document training and certifications in safety software systems and Excel spreadsheets.
Organize and maintain training records.
Conduct equipment checks and inspections on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
Refill and maintain PPE stations (e.g., safety glasses, ear plugs).
Complete all required training assigned by the company, department, and position.
Assist EHS Managers with additional tasks as needed.
Requirements of the Safety Administrative Assistant
Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to responsibilities.
