Masis Staffing Solutions is currently hiring for a Team Assembler position at a General Warehouse in Lexington, SC. This is a 1st shift position 6 AM- 4:30 PM Monday – Friday 

Responsibilities of the Saw Machine Operator

• Operate saw(s) to cut material for manufacturing. Must be 100% accurate with ruler measurements.
• Assessment required in office

Requirements of the Saw Machine Operator

• Set up and operate power saws to cut, miter, and trim workpieces according to specifications using programmable stop or manual stop as required.
•  Cut materials as directed by the Supervisor or Department Lead
•  Read work orders, cut sheets, or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Knowledge of work order reporting cut sheets, and daily sheets. Ability to accurately report production on work orders.
• Lift and position material on the saw table for cutting.
• Examine material before cutting to determine what cuts will remove defects and produce maximum footage.
•  Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications, using gauges, calipers, tape measure, or rulers.
•  Mark identifying data on workpieces.
•  Clean work area.
•  Report scrap accurately daily

Compensation for the Saw Machine Operator

• Salary: $15 – $17 Per/Hr. Depending on experience
