Shipping and Receiving/Forklift  $23- $26hr – Neptune NJ
Are you an experienced Shipping and Receiving Associate who enjoys working in an organized warehouse where accuracy and teamwork matter? We are currently hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join a stable, family-owned manufacturing company. This Shipping and Receiving Associate position is ideal for someone with forklift experience, strong inventory skills, and a commitment to getting the job done right the first time.

Responsibilities of the Shipping and Receiving Associate:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality.
• Operate a sit down/stand up forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Scan materials and maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanners and inventory systems.
• Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to ensure proper inventory rotation.
• Prepare, verify, and stage outgoing shipments, including labels, counts, and shipping documentation.
• Review Bills of Lading and shipping paperwork to ensure all orders are accurate before shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with inventory organization and continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency.

Requirements for the Shipping and Receiving Associate:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or a similar manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of forklift experience; experience operating an electric double rider is preferred.
• Experience using barcode scanners and inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ability to read shipping documents, Bills of Lading, and product labels.
• Forklift certification helpful
• Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits for the Shipping and Receiving Associate:

• Competitive pay based on experience $23 – $26hr.
• Full-time opportunity.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 
• Rotating schedule 2 -2 -3
• Weekly pay.
