Seasonal Mailing Machine Operator – Smartpress

Location: Chanhassen, MN
Seasonal Assignment: August–January
Schedule: Monday–Friday

Masis Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable and motivated Seasonal Mailing Machine Operators to join the team at Smartpress in Chanhassen, MN!

This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in mailing, machine operation, direct mail, printing, fulfillment, packaging, or production. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and are willing to learn, we encourage you to apply!

Available Shifts

2nd Shift – Priority Opening

Monday–Friday | Night Shift

• This is our #1 hiring priority
• Initial training will be completed on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift

1st Shift

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Additional openings are also available on the day shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate mailing and production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate and assist with inserters, tabbing machines, envelope sealers, and other mailing equipment.
• Sort, organize, and prepare postcards and other mail pieces for processing.
• Monitor equipment and production processes to help ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow production schedules and complete assigned work accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all applicable USPS regulations and mailing requirements.
• Inspect finished mail pieces for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Previous mailing, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.
• Previous USPS or postal industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of USPS regulations and mailing procedures is helpful.
• Experience in printing, direct mail, fulfillment, packaging, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and production requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work throughout the seasonal assignment.
