SMT Machine Operator

Are you ready to take your skills in SMT manufacturing to the next level? Our client in Milford is seeking a dedicated SMT Machine Operator to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the precise placement and soldering of surface mount parts on circuit boards. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities of the SMT Operator I
Set up and operate SMT machinery to produce and solder components into circuit boards
Utilize process sheets to ensure accurate specifications for circuit boards.
Load feeders with materials for surface mount machines.
Perform machine preventative maintenance and operate stencil cleaning machines.
Requirements of the SMT Operator I
High School Diploma or GED required.
Machine operations experience required, previous SMT machine operation experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Good eyesight, hand and finger dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
Knowledge of machine maintenance and problem-solving skills.
Compensation/Benefits for the SMT Operator I
$17.00 to $18.00 an hour DOE
