SMT Set-Up Operator

Are you ready to take your skills in SMT manufacturing to the next level? Our client in Milford is seeking a dedicated SMT Set-Up Operator to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the precise placement and soldering of surface mount parts on circuit boards. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities of the SMT Set-Up Operator
• Load electronic components into a variety of machine placement feeders
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs of feeders
• Provide manufacturing technical support
• Assist the machine operators when problems arise
• Perform the work necessary to maintain the equipment
Requirements of the SMT Set-Up Operator
Good counting skills
• Understand manufacturing documentation
• Ability to recognize various electronic components and understand their specifications
• Ability to work carefully with small state of the art surface mount components
• Understand ESD procedures
• Ability to work independently
Compensation/Benefits for the SMT Set-Up Operator
$17.00 an hour
