Stacker/Lumber Handler
Columbia, SC

Masis Staffing Solutions is currently hiring Stacker/Lumber Handler associates for a Pressure Treated Lumber facility based in Columbia, SC. This is a 1st shift position 7 AM-4:30 PM Monday – Friday (Bi-lingual a plus)

Responsibilities of the Stacker/ Lumber Handler

Assist in loading and unloading of materials and charges.
Identify the sort numbers for the carts you are responsible for.
Pull lumber boards into the correct carts according to the sort numbers on the lumber boards.
Tag lumber with proper product tag.
Assist in other areas as needed or requested.
Assist in cleaning work areas, painting, and maintaining property, plant, and equipment.
Hours: Overtime and weekends may be mandatory as well as unexpected shift changes. Attendance is extremely important.

Requirements of the Stacker/Lumber Handler

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Able to work with the public.
Apply proper Safety and environmental practices.
Ability to lift 50 continually.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions. (This is an OUTSIDE position).
