Structural Engineer Del Mar, CA Our client is searching for a structural engineer with a background and passion for factory-built housing. Candidates with experience in the manufactured/modular home industry will be an ideal fit for this role. Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
Design and calculations: Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for structural and other systems, ensuring they meet technical standards, ICC, and California building codes.
Project management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources from conception to completion.
Quality assurance: Review and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for manufactured housing, including safety and quality standards.
Problem-solving: Investigate and resolve technical issues that arise during the design and manufacturing process, implementing improvements as needed.
Collaboration: Work with various teams, including production, logistics, product engineering, and field operations, to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
Structural Engineer Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field, such as civil or structural engineering required.
Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles and practices.
Proficiency with engineering software for design, analysis, and modeling.
Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods for factory-built housing.
Structural Engineer Compensation:
Salary range of $80K – $120K depending on experience
