Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of our commercial design-build projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing ground-up and renovation projects across various sectors, including corporate, educational, multifamily, and residential. As a key site leader, you will ensure project delivery meets quality standards, timelines, budgets, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution: Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization to completion.
Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules in coordination with the project manager and subcontractors.
Quality Control: Enforce quality assurance and control programs to meet or exceed project specifications and industry standards.
Subcontractor Coordination: Direct and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure work is performed on schedule and to specifications.
Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Conduct daily site safety walks and enforce corrective actions as needed.
Communication: Maintain clear and continuous communication with project management, design teams, clients, and field personnel.
Documentation: Maintain accurate field reports, logs, inspections, RFI tracking, and daily jobsite documentation.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may affect project timelines, budget, or quality.
Inspections: Coordinate with local authorities, inspectors, and third-party consultants to facilitate necessary inspections and permits.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, preferably with a general contractor or design-build firm.
Demonstrated experience managing ground-up and major renovation projects in sectors such as corporate, education, multifamily, and residential.
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficient in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project, etc.).
OSHA 30 Certification (Required).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:
Experience working on design-build projects with integrated project delivery (IPD).
Background in lean construction practices.
Familiarity with BIM and digital construction technologies.
Spanish language skills a plus.
