Team Lead

Location: Medford, MA
Shift: Monday–Thursday | 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM (or until production ends)
Pay: $26.50–$32.50 per hour, based on experience

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to lead our production team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has experience supervising meat or sausage production, maintaining food safety standards, and motivating teams to meet daily production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise production operations across Mix & Grind, Stuffing, Packing, and Packaging.

  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees.

  • Ensure production goals, quality standards, and food safety requirements are met.

  • Monitor workflow and reassign staff as needed to maximize efficiency.

  • Operate and troubleshoot production equipment when necessary.

  • Verify product quality, weights, and labeling accuracy.

  • Ensure proper sanitation and end-of-shift cleanup procedures are completed.

  • Communicate production, staffing, and equipment issues to management.

Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in food manufacturing required.

  • Experience in sausage or meat processing strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety, and sanitation procedures.

  • Experience operating grinders, mixers, stuffers, or similar production equipment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment (approximately 40°F).

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced production environment.

Overtime Opportunity

Employees interested in earning additional hours may request to join the Sanitation Team, which works after production ends. This provides the opportunity to add overtime hours to your regular shift.
