Test Technician II

Responsibilities of the Test Technician II
Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling procedures.
Utilize Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitive levels (MSL).
Identify and submit faulted components or manufacturing defects on production printed circuit boards for re-work.
Read, interpret, and react to schematics for troubleshooting processes.
Conduct functional and boundary scan tests on production printed circuit boards.
Run software backups, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on tester control computers.
Support production test operator training and certification programs.
Participate in test process and test station improvements, efficiencies, and safety.
Create detailed test reports and interface with cross-functional departments.
Requirements of the Test Technician II
AA/AS Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of related experience or vocational/technical certificate without related experience.
Experience operating test equipment such as HP 3070 and Genrad, including network and spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits down to the component level.
Prefer experience with amplifiers and attenuators.
Highly computer literate with good deductive reasoning skills.
Ability to work on multiple procedures/products with highly repetitive or routine duties.
