Masis Professional Group is recruiting for a Utility Operator on behalf of our client located in Laramie, WY. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive hourly payrate and benefits package.

Utility Operator Objectives:

Work as part of a team to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the plant and mine in order to maximize operational efficiency in an environment of continuous training and improvement; to provide material handling, utility, inspection and general labor in support of plant operations.

Utility Operator Nature and Scope:

• Provide general labor services as needed in the plant and mine as required.
• Store, stock and handle all materials including but not limited to; fuel, rock, clinker, and cement.
• Operate mobile equipment, cement loading, shipping, reclaim and transfer equipment.
• Perform basic repairs to facilitate plant operation.

Utility Operator Specific Accountabilities:

• Must comply with all company safety policies and MSHA regulations at all times.
• Operate mobile equipment.
• Operate cement loading, shipping, reclaim, and transfer equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mobile equipment.
• Perform inventory measurements and reporting as required.
• Perform immediate basic repair to facilitate plant operation.
• Perform necessary tasks to ensure good housekeeping for a safe and efficient operation.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Work with little or no supervision.
• Contribute to daily reports and other routine reports about special projects or incidents.
• Perform any and all other duties as may be assigned from time to time. Work any shifts, including weekends and paid holidays as schedules dictate.
