Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler

Shift:1st 5am – 1:30pm
Pay: $21
Location: Joliet IL 

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler to support daily warehouse and distribution operations. This position is responsible for the receipt, shipment, recording, and distribution of goods while helping ensure materials move efficiently throughout the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify materials and quantities
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments
• Record and maintain accurate information for received and shipped goods
• Distribute materials and products to the appropriate locations
• Load, unload, stage, and organize materials as needed
• Assist with inventory tracking and material management
• Ensure products and materials are handled accurately and efficiently
• Assist with logistics, supply chain, and distribution activities
• Coordinate the movement of materials to minimize delays
• Follow proper shipping, receiving, and warehouse procedures
• Maintain accurate paperwork, records, and documentation
• Communicate with warehouse and operations teams regarding material movement
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
• Experience with inventory, logistics, or distribution is a plus
• Basic computer and data entry skills preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
