Warehouse Builder – Exterior Doors

Masis Staffing Solutions is currently hiring for a Warehouse Builder – Exterior Doors position at a Warehouse in Columbia, SC. This is a 1st shift position 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with some overtime), Monday-Friday

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Builder – Exterior Doors

• Assemble exterior door units according to work orders and specifications (size, swing, glass, hardware prep, weatherstripping, thresholds).
• Read and interpret tickets, measurements, and build instructions.
• Measure and inspect materials for defects; verify correct parts are used (jambs, brickmold, astragals, sweeps, hinges, locks/borings if applicable).
• Operate and/or assist with standard warehouse/build equipment (hand tools, nail guns/staplers, drills, saws, routers, clamps, pneumatic tools).
• Apply sealants/adhesives, weatherstripping, and protective packaging materials as required.
• Perform quality checks to ensure doors are square, aligned, sealed, and built to customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation (5S); follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Move finished units to staging/shipping areas; assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Communicate issues (damaged material, missing parts, unclear specs) to the lead/supervisor promptly.

Requirements of the Warehouse Builder – Exterior Doors

• 1+ year of hands-on assembly, manufacturing, carpentry, or warehouse production experience preferred (door/window, millwork, or construction a plus).
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math (fractions/decimals).
• Comfortable using hand and power tools; ability to follow detailed build instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment.

Compensation for the Warehouse Builder – Exterior Doors

• Salary: $15 – $16 Per/Hr.
