About the Role
Position Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator assists the Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This role ensures efficient workflow, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process all required shipping documentation
Select, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
Ensure accurate packaging, labeling, and shipment verification
Coordinate loading and unloading of goods
Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing inventory
Enter and maintain shipment and delivery data in the system
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
Inspect incoming inventory to ensure quality standards
Support receiving processes and verify shipment accuracy
Maintain compliance with safety regulations and warehouse procedures
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma or Associate degree in a related field
Minimum 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience or equivalent
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Skills & Knowledge
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
Experience with SAP or similar inventory systems
Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts)
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Work environment includes exposure to dust, noise, and warehouse conditions
