Warehouse Damage Associate
Job Summary
The Warehouse Damage Associate is responsible for identifying, inspecting, documenting, and processing damaged products within the warehouse while maintaining inventory accuracy and quality standards.
Essential Duties
Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for damaged products.
Identify, document, and report damaged inventory.
Process damaged merchandise in the warehouse management system (WMS).
Separate and label damaged goods for return, disposal, or rework.
Investigate the cause of product damage and report findings to supervisors.
Maintain accurate inventory records and complete damage reports.
Perform cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
Operate RF scanners and warehouse management software.
Assist with loading, unloading, picking, and material movement when necessary.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
Previous warehouse, inventory, or quality control experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to use computers, scanners, and warehouse systems.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.
