Job Details for Material Handlers

• 1st shift
• Monday-Friday and Saturdays when needed
• Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
• Orientation: 8am to 4:30 pm Wed-Fri
• Location- Charlotte, NC 28269

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• -All Operators are required to complete a checklist, have it signed by a Supervisor, and sign the equipment out properly before operating it.
• -All  Operators are required to WEAR eye protection, a vest, Steel shoes, and jeans.
• – Operators must wear a harness and lanyard always connected to the lift and pass the training that will be for 3 days.
• -Accurately transfer product/parts, both physically and logically, into and/or out of warehouse locations, move products throughout the facility with powered industrial equipment, and perform inventory counts as required.
• -Read, interpret, and accomplish WMS reports, recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer.
• -Trained to recognize “obvious damage” at any point in the warehousing process and knowledge of action taken when discovered.
• – Pull orders accurately as assigned
• – Stage orders according to carrier location and verify: the number of pallets picked as well as stage location
• -Prepare Receiving / Storage / Shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process.
• -Aware of and follows location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures.
• -Position may require lifting of 40-60lbs.
• -Performs housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
• – May operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery

Job Requirements for Material Handlers

• 2 years of High reach truck experience
• Must have a Resume to apply.
• Great attitude and team work
• Team oriented mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed
