Warehouse Worker – 1st Shift

Are you ready to be a vital part of a fast-paced warehouse team? Our client is seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Workers to support daily receiving, shipping, and storage operations in Newburyport, MA.

In this role, you’ll help ensure products are received, stored, and shipped safely and accurately while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and organization. If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working as part of a team, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Follow the company’s Food Safety Plan and established safety procedures.
• Receive and inspect incoming products and materials.
• Ensure inbound materials are received at the correct temperature and in good condition.
• Properly label and separate products containing allergens by type.
• Accurately document inbound products and submit required paperwork on time.
• Ensure outbound carrier trucks are set to the proper temperature before loading.
• Prepare outbound pallets, ensuring they are properly shrink-wrapped, labeled, and in good condition.
• Complete all shipping paperwork accurately and thoroughly.
• Ensure products are stored correctly and rotated using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Verify Bills of Lading include all required lot codes for product shipments.
• Maintain receiving, shipping, and warehouse areas in clean, organized, and inspection-ready condition.
• Safely and properly operate warehouse equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
