Job Title: Vendor Account Specialist
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85044
Compensation: $22/hr
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Vendor Account Specialist to manage and maintain relationships with our external vendors and suppliers. This role is responsible for onboarding new vendors, updating account information, and ensuring vendor compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, excellent data management abilities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and its vendors
Manage vendor onboarding and account setup, including documentation collection, credential verification, and data entry
Maintain accurate vendor records in compliance with internal policies and legal requirements
Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments, purchase orders, and contracts in a timely and professional manner
Monitor vendor performance to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met
Collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams to ensure timely payments and resolve discrepancies
Support audits and internal reporting by maintaining complete documentation and records
Identify and implement process improvements related to vendor management
Assist with updates to vendor management policies and procedures
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field
2+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or account administration
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and vendor management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa)
Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality
Familiarity with contracts, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliation is a plus
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Understanding of compliance and regulatory standards in vendor management
Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are a plus
