Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enforce companywide and discipline-specific AutoCAD standards
• Serve as working team lead to develop drawing and documentation packages
• Work closely with multiple engineers & designers to coordinate drafting of accurate drawing packages • Work with IT staff to manage licensing and optimize systems for AutoCAD production work
• Plot, batch plot, scan and issue project drawing and documentation packages
• Support multiple project and client deadlines and deliverables
• Mentor and train support staff
• Draft in AutoCAD Civil 3D environments
• Mentor AutoCAD staff
Minimum Requirements:
• Associate's degree (additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• A minimum of 5 years drafting with current editions of AutoCAD environments
• Experience in a variety of civil engineering projects
• Knowledge of drafting principles, techniques and procedures
• Established ability to coordinate with engineering staff to develop production packages
• Ability to manipulate vector and raster drawing files in AutoCAD
• Ability to draft plans and drawings from engineer provided markups
• Experience with file sharing, document management and collaboration tools
• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills within a team environment
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced engineering/production environment
• High level of attention to detail

• A highly organized approach to tasks and a high level of initiative
• Ability to use design concepts from the engineering staff to create plan documents that specify design intent
• Ability to provide design suggestions, review and ensure documents are compliant with company standards
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication with co-workers, clients, and the general public
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to complete projects independently and/or in a small team in a responsible and timely manner
