Position Summary
We’re seeking a Transportation Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment and build strong candidate pipelines to support ongoing hiring needs. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting CDL and Non-CDL talent and is comfortable working in fast-paced environments with high candidate volume and multiple stakeholders.
Pay Rate: $28–$30/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:45 PM (Onsite — no remote or hybrid)

Preferred Experience

• Recruiting experience with CDL and Non-CDL roles preferred
• Experience with Tenstreet is a plus
• Prior experience recruiting for technical and IT positions is required
• Demonstrated success in VMS environments

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement recruiting strategies and interview plans for various technical and professional positions
• Use online recruiting tools and an internal ATS to identify, source, and recruit top talent
• Review resumes and credentials to evaluate alignment with job requirements (skills, experience, knowledge)
• Provide accurate, compelling information to candidates about the company, client, and role
• Manage and coordinate all candidate communications throughout the recruiting lifecycle
• Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics between candidates and hiring managers
• Document all communications and updates throughout the recruiting process
• Manage full-cycle recruiting activities including presentation, selection, offers, negotiation, closing, and administrative steps
• Contribute to development of creative, cost-effective sourcing and recruiting strategies
• Build and maintain pipelines for technical, engineering, programming, IT, and professional talent to support upcoming needs

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize work, and solve problems independently
• Effective negotiation and closing skills
• High energy, strong work ethic, and ability to maintain focus in a busy environment
• Professional handling of sensitive and confidential information
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and VMS systems
• Ability to recruit across a broad range of roles at a national, multi-location level
• Internet and social media savvy, including experience mining online databases
• Quick learner of systems, processes, and procedures
